Why overnight care is worth it

Most pet problems happen at night. A senior dog needing out at 2 a.m., a cat who stops eating when the house goes quiet, a storm-anxious retriever pacing alone for twelve hours. Drop-in visits can't catch any of that — an overnight stay can.

Overnight pet sitting is the service I'm known for in Williamson Valley and Prescott, and it's the one I most enjoy. Your pets get company at bedtime, a normal morning, and a house that still smells and sounds like home.

Serving Williamson Valley, Talking Rock & Prescott

I live in Williamson Valley, so your home is in my neighborhood. That means short drive times, quick response when plans change, and a sitter who's already nearby — not someone driving across town. I regularly care for pets in Talking Rock, Williamson Valley, and surrounding Prescott neighborhoods.

Whether you're away for a weekend or the whole summer, your pets get the same calm, attentive overnight care from someone local who knows the area and is close by if anything comes up.

Especially good for senior and medical-needs pets

If your pet is on a medication schedule, recovering from surgery, or simply slowing down with age, overnight care means doses land on time and small changes get noticed early. I've cared for full households — multiple dogs and cats at once — through travel, hospital stays, and treatment.

Insured, vetted, and reachable. If something looks off, I call you and your vet, not the other way around.

Claudia is an angel taking care of my pet family — 2 dogs and 2 cats. Not only did she extend her stay last minute, but sent me photos every day. I can't say enough about her caring, professional, and kind nature.

Common questions

What does an overnight pet sitting stay include?
I stay in your home overnight: evening and morning walks, feeding, medication, bedtime company, and a tidy house when you return. Rates start at $75 per night, per dog.
Is overnight care better than boarding?
For most dogs and cats, yes. Your pet keeps its own bed, routine and territory, and is never left alone through the night — which matters most for anxious pets, seniors, and animals on medication.
How far in advance should I book?
Holidays and summer fill first, so earlier is better. That said, I take last-minute and extended bookings whenever my calendar allows — just call (928) 800-2430.
Do you watch the house too?
Yes. While I'm staying, I bring in mail and packages, water plants, and keep the home looking lived-in — home watch at no extra charge during an overnight stay.
